With the racing the NRCC have had this year, it would be wrong not to celebrate it and with that in mind, the decision has been made to go on the road down to The Epsom Pigeon Fayre on Saturday, October 25th and get ourselves a stand! If you are a current NRCC member then please do come and say hello, it will be great to put a name to a face as well as catch up with those we already know! This year, the NRCC have had one of the best seasons with every section being well represented in the results. In addition to this, every section from the shortest flyers to the furthest have all reported great returns and the superb condition of their returning birds. Our biggest race on the race card, the Lerwick Kings Cup race saw 6 pigeons, all flying 580 miles plus, take positions in the top twenty, 3 of them from Section ‘H’ with a further 3 from Section ‘I’. Also banging the drum for the distance racing we saw an exceptional race from Fraserburgh for Section ‘G’ with pigeons being timed in on the day flying a distance 450 plus miles. If you are interested in what you have read about us and aren’t currently a member but would like to know more about the NRCC and what it has to offer, then come and have a chat with us. In attendance to answer any questions you may have will be NRCC President – Ray Knight, Weather Advisor – Ray Luffman and Convoyer – Dave Pettitt. We will be taking a new 2026 NRCC membership form along with us for anyone wishing to renew or join however, we will only be able to accept cheques, postal orders or cash as we do not have a card reader for card payment. You will also be able to pre-order rings should you choose too as well as futurity rings but please remeber that the RPRA do not issue them out to us untill December!
