Lerwick Race Closure

Well what a race. After a three day hold over what an event it turned out to be, all seven sections represented in the first 12 open. There are some remarkable performances that has been put up and I can honestly say I have never seen a race with so many far flying pigeons so well up in the result. Huge congratulations to every one that took part, to the provisional winners. Of course we can not forget our weather man Ray Luffman who is sitting 10th open flying 591miles, our convoyer David Pettitt and assistant convoyer/driver for over 20 years Merv Greatrix and Magnus Dixon our man at Northlink for getting the guys and transporter on the ferry yesterday afternoon. Thank you!

The Lerwick race closes at 440 yards a minute. RPRA Rule 191 and NRCC Rule 15
