The Lerwick birds were liberated at 05:30hrs in a light north west wind turning west on route. All the birds have left the crates and cleared te site. The North Sea in clear and we have good visibility down the line of flight.

While they have high cloud over Lerwick, Scotland is covered with two large bands of rain. After consulting with the weather team the convoyers have made the decision to hold over. All things being equal tomorrow conditions are showing an improvement. Please call back tomorrow
